Dear KJA Members and Parents,
It is with great appreciation to you for helping to keep Kokushikai going as we enter our 12th year! Sensei Matsumura and I appreciate all of our members' participation to help Kokushikai reach our 12th anniversary. Thank you!
Over the past year, we have made a full transition back to full-contact Judo for all ages in all classes of Tiny Tiger, Children, Youth, Teen, and Adults. (Pee Wee classes are returning and will be added to the schedule.) We continue to stay responsible with our cleaning practices for the health and safety of all and look forward to our internal Shiai (friendly competition for our members only) returning as well.
Keeping with last year’s schedule, the Annual Facility Maintenance Fee falls in May but will move back to April in 2023. This is a reminder that Kokushikai Judo Academy will be collecting our annual Facility Maintenance Fee this upcoming Monday, May 23, 2022.
The Facility Maintenance Fee will be $85 per member with a maximum of $155 per family. This fee only applies to active members with more than 1 month of membership. Families with less than one month of membership may voluntarily contribute but it is not mandatory. This fee aids in meeting the rising costs of maintaining the dojo without increasing tuition rates for our current members.
We are doing our best to keep Kokushikai affordable to our members while maintaining quality judo training. Thank-you for your understanding and support of our dojo for the enjoyment of all.
