Dear KJA Members and Parents,
We have been open for one month and classes are going well. We have good news to pass along!
1. Starting today, we are adding Zoom classes to overlap the following NO Contact Classes. Access is available for any current member who would like to participate from home.
Monday, Juniors 5:45pm - 6:45pm
Monday, Seniors 7:15pm - 8:15pm
Thursday, Juniors 5:45pm - 6:45pm
Friday, Seniors 11am - 12pm
Zoom session ID: 2017978988
Password: kja
(See complete schedule online for all In-person classes)
For Zoom users, please use a name and email that I can easily recognize to welcome through the Zoom waiting room. And of course, please be very careful with space and surfaces while practicing at home. We can not take responsibility for any mishaps while you are following from home.
(Also please lower expectations for today as we will change the angle of the camera by Thursday and Friday when the longer wire arrives but it is important to begin to see how this will work.)
2. The Kokushikai Judo Academy App is now available on iStore and GooglePlay!
The link is also here to download right now:
https://kokushikai.app.link/mEd9YyGTO8
Benefits of the App include: easy class enrollment, log-in to the KJA Member Portal, receive important notifications instantly, update your billing information, subscribe to a KJA Group, see KJA photos, share the app and refer a friend, and much more!
I am still customizing the app for our needs, so any feedback is appreciated.
3. A new class has been added on Wednesday night!
NO Contact Seniors 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
Enrollment is open now through the Member's Portal either on your computer OR...on the KJA App!
If you see other classes you want and they are full, put yourself or your child on the wait list because new classes are forming and spaces will open up.
4. A new semester of Tiny Tigers will begin in September!
Please inform any friends or relatives that have interest to start 4 yr or 5 yr olds in Judo at Kokushikai. Online enrollment information will be out soon and any friends can contact me and provide their e-mail for information.
5. But the best news is that we see improvement in so many students from this unique opportunity to develop and train creatively. As a teacher and coach, I am inspired by our students effort and dedication and look forward to continued growth.
Sincerely,
Sensei
