Dear KJA Members, Parents, and Shiai Volunteers,

Below is the entire Schedule of Events for the KJA Shiai, Sunday, May 7, 2017.
If you are not competing in tomorrow's Shiai, feel free to watch any session of competition, come for the pizza party at the end of the day or
participate by supporting the KJA Competitor Fund by purchasing raffle tickets to win a basket of your choice.

Please note that there is a $5 spectator fee through out the day which includes the pizza party with drinks.

The Outstanding Competitor awards for each Session will be presented during the pizza party.
The drawing for the raffle baskets will be at 7pm.

Volunteers should arrive between 9:30 am and 9:45 am unless other arrangements have been made.

Tiny Tiger / Pee Wee Session:
Competitors/Spectators Arrive: 10am - 10:15am
Competitor Roll Call on the Mat & Warm-up: 10:15am - 10:30am
Shiai matches: 10:30am - 11:00am (2 minute matches)
Shiai Award Presentations and Group Photo: 11:00am - 11:30am

Children's Session:
Competitors/Spectators Arrive: 11:15 am - 11:30am
Competitor Roll Call on the Mat & Warm-up: 11:30am - 11:50am
Shiai & Newaza matches: 11:50am - 1:00pm (2.5 minute matches)
Shiai Award Presentations and Group Photo: 1pm - 1:30pm

Lunch Break for Volunteers 1:30pm - 2:00pm
(Please be back on Time)

Youth Session:
Competitors/Spectators Arrive: 2:00pm - 2:15pm
Competitor Roll Call on the Mat & Warm-up: 2:15pm - 2:30pm
Shiai & Newaza matches: 2:30pm - 3:45pm (3 minute matches)
Shiai Award Presentations and Group Photo: 3:45pm - 4:15pm

Teen/Adult Session:
Competitors/Spectators Arrive: 4:00pm - 4:15pm
Competitor Roll Call on the Mat & Warm-up: 4:15pm - 4:30pm
Shiai & Newaza matches: 4:30pm - 5:15pm (3 minute matches)
Shiai Award Presentations and Group Photo: 5:15pm - 5:30pm

All are Welcome!
6:00pm - 7:30pm Post-Shiai Pizza Party:
KJA Competitor Fund Raffle Basket Drawing will be at 7pm
(Winning ticket holders need not be present to win.)


Please remember that there are no regular classes Sunday 5/7 or Monday 5/8 due to the Shiai.
