Dear KJA Parents,

If you are receiving this e-mail, your son or daughter is enrolled in a Shiai division(s) or Jr. Newaza division in the Children's Session (11:15am to 2:00pm).  Please refer to the timeline below for planning. Allow a few extra minutes ahead of time to park, enter through the back door, remove shoes and to be hand stamped. 

Since the basement is still not accessible, a "Shoe-Check" will be in place to help organize all shoes and footwear. You will be given a plastic bag at the door.  Please put your shoes in the bag and give to the "Shoe-Check" attendant.  There you will be given a number to hold until you are ready to give back to the attendant to retrieve your shoes.   You may also check your coat if you like or keep on the back of the spectator chairs.

Reminder:
Boys: Do not wear t-shirts under the uniform to compete.
Girls: Must wear a solid white crew neck t-shirt that does not stick out at the sleeves.
Both Boys and Girls: NO Earrings, bracelets or necklaces. All long hair must be tied up in a pony-tail or bun above the neck collar.

Children's Session:
Competitors/Spectators Arrive: 11:15 am - 11:30am
Competitor Roll Call on the Mat & Warm-up: 11:30am - 11:50am
Shiai & Newaza matches: 11:50am - 1:40pm (2 minute matches/ 2 minute Golden Score)
Shiai Award Presentations and Group Photo: 1:40pm - 2:00pm

Outstanding Male and Female Competitor Awards for the Children's Session will be awarded during the Pizza Party.


Pizza Party and Raffle Basket Drawings: 5:30pm - 7:00pm
