Shiai Management Dashboard
Creating a New Shiai Session
- Enter a start Date: This date reflects the day the session will occur.
- Enter the Title of the Event: (note should be consistent with other sessions, (eg. June 11,2023 KJA Shiai SESSION 1)
- Enter the Expiration date of the last date of the Session.
- Select a Status - Eg. currentshia. "Currentshiai" selection allows students to be enrolled in a session. For the purposes of preparation you can simply select "enrollment Open". "Enrollment closed" prevents any additions to the session.
- Notes - If there are any specific notes regarding this session it can be entered here.
- Select a session - You can have up to 6 sessions.Select the age range from the dropdown. You can only select one session at a time. If you are going to have 3 sessions then you will need to create then onbe at a time.
Click Create Shiai Event buttion to complete setup.
Adding Students to A Shiai Session
The Shiai Management Dashboard
The Shiai Dashboard provides support for the creation and tracking of sessions and students. Shiai sessions are created to enroll for enrolling students and establishing the information required for tracking the class.
Shiai Management
This is dashboard provides the ability to add and update enrolled students to a current proposed Shiai Tournament.
The function is comprised of two parts:
- Enrolling a student
- Adding a performance summary record.
To enroll a student, click the "add Student to Session" button on at the top of the Dashboard.

The Shiai attendance information is displayed on the student's profile. If the student has won an award it will be displayed in another section as well.
